Q. What is the science of ‘Dermatoglyphics’?
A. ‘Derma’ means Skin and ‘Glyphic’ means Carvings. ‘Dermatoglyphics’ means the science of the study of Skin ridges. Dr. Harold Cummins (1894-1976) coined the term ‘Dermatoglyphics’ and is considered the “Father of Dermatoglyphics” for the scientific study of skin ridge patterns found on the palms of human hands. The findings of his lifetime studies and the techniques he developed, known as the Cummins Methodology, are accepted as important tools in tracing genetic and evolutionary relationships. The methodology has gained common usage in the diagnosis of some types of mental retardation, schizophrenia, cleft palate, and even heart disease. In other fields, dermatoglyphics is used to aid ethnologic and population studies and to make identifications by police.
Q. How is it possible to precisely analyze the brain's functionalities just by studying fingerprints?
A. The strong correlation between the brain and fingerprints was first noticed accidentally by American doctors who discovered babies born with no brain (or defective brain) had irregular fingerprints. The neural tube defect, also famously known as Anencephaly, is the absence of the prime brain portions, skull, and scalp. It occurs due to failure in the complete and proper development of the cephalic end of the neural tube. A fetus born with such deformity usually has no forebrain. It has been observed that such babies are devoid of any fingerprint ridges too.
ANENCEPHALY
Medical science has confirmed that during the growth of the fetus within the mother’s womb from the 13th — 21st week, fingerprints are formed simultaneously along with the development of the neocortex and are closely related to the infant’s brain development. The distribution of prints is considered to represent the proportion and distribution of brain cells in each of the brain lobes. Through research, geneticists have proven that dermatoglyphic formations are controlled by chromosomes, and the patterns are influenced by polygenetic inheritance. As the science progressed, more patterns and sub-patterns of fingerprints were discovered and their precise relations with human behaviour were established.
Q. How does the ‘Brainography’ Test work?
It is not a coincidence that we have 10 Brain Lobes and 10 Fingers. Our Skin Ridges (Especially Fingerprints) uniquely correlate with our Brains. By counting the ridges and studying the fingerprint pattern we can map the entire energy flow in each brain lobe. In other words, we can precisely decode the functioning of the Brain.

If we consider the world population approx. 8 billion, there are around 80 billion fingers.
The most common fingerprint pattern is the Loops. Loops make up approximately 60% of the fingerprints of the entire world population. Whorls make up approximately 30%. And the Arches & Accidentals together make up the remaining 10%. So, the Arches & the Accidentals can be categorized under rare fingerprint patterns. Accidentals are a mixture of patterns so they have unpredictable nature.

Loops, on the other hand, are Flexible, creative & high on imitation learning. They are easy-going and can adapt to various situations. They are socially oriented and value relationships with people. They are always open to new learnings, thoughts, and input from others, and with appropriate encouragement and strong mentoring, they can give a dynamic performance.
On the downside, Loops get easily influenced by the environment and people and get effective very easily. They tend to get distracted by their thoughts or the thoughts shared by others. Loops tend to leave or give up tasks midway due to lacking motivation. They display relatively low willpower & low perseverance towards their own goals and resolutions compared to Whorls. They give more importance to what others might think.
Fingerprint Types: Arch Family
Arches are quite flexible and have infinite potential for learning. They are practical and hardworking. They are quite affable and easy-going. Since they are honest and direct, they object to ambiguity and dishonesty in others. Arches can absorb information from multiple sources and reflect on it. If nurtured correctly they tend to be pioneers in their zones.
On the downside, Arches are quite quick to be judgmental about people and situations. They require excellent guidance and handholding to exercise their potential. They tend to be quite defensive and conservative in their ideas. They may display extreme mood swings, sometimes being extremely impatient or emotionally erratic.
